Municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey said that in order to reduce Covid-19 fatalities in city a 4-layer strategy is planned.
“Under the plan, we have appealed to the citizens to buy thermal gun and pulse oximeters to regularly screen their family members and upload their status on Majhi Health Majha Haathi (MHMH), mobile application. Secondly, we have deployed 1,500 mobile fever clinics to undertake door-to-door screening and upload data on MHMH. Thirdly, NGOs and public representatives have been asked to deploy their booth level workers to carry out door-to-door screening and fourthly, the establishments are asked to do the screening,” Pandey said.
